6.4/10

I had a nice stay at Best Windows in Venice, largely thanks to its very nice location right in St. Mark's Square. The room itself was comfortable, featuring a good bed and a whirlpool bath, but it certainly needed some updating. I was disappointed that there were no English TV channels, and the check-in process could have been smoother. Overall, I would consider staying again for the location alone.

Rooms
6.0
My room was decent with a big comfy bed and traditional décor, but it needed major updating. Some furniture was falling apart, and the lack of proper coffee facilities was a downside.
Service
5.0
The staff member at registration was doing his best under tough circumstances, as he had to manage everything on his own. However, the lack of staff made the check-in process quite lengthy and a bit chaotic.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the Bell Tower and lively restaurants in St. Mark's Square. It's hard to overstate how convenient it is to be right in the heart of Venice.
Dining
7.0
While I didn't experience dining directly at the hotel, being close to numerous restaurants made it easy to explore local cuisine. I particularly enjoyed the cheese rolls at a nearby spot.
Facilities
6.0
The room included some nice amenities like a whirlpool bath, but the overall facilities felt a bit neglected. Better maintenance could significantly enhance the experience.

6.0/10

My stay at Best Windows in Venice was a mix of highs and lows. The location, right in St Mark's Square, is really good, offering stunning views and easy access to the Basilica. However, the room itself left much to be desired, with a hard bed, mosquito issues, and some maintenance problems that detracted from my comfort. Overall, it's a nice spot for its location, but I couldn't overlook the disappointing aspects of my accommodation.

Rooms
6.0
The room was traditionally styled but had several maintenance issues, including a broken toilet seat and a mismatched sitting area that felt cramped. The hard bed and uncomfortable pillows were quite a letdown, too.
Service
5.0
The reception experience was a bit frustrating. The check-in process was overly lengthy with only one person at the desk. While the receptionist was trying hard, the lack of staff was evident and made the process feel disorganized.
Location
10.0
The location is unbeatable, just steps away from the clock tower and the Basilica. It's practically in the heart of the city, which makes it perfect for exploring, though the noise level can be quite high due to the bustling area.
Dining
7.0
I didn't try the dining options extensively, but the area around the hotel has delicious sandwiches and plenty of other local favorites within easy reach.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were basic, with some missing amenities like a shower plug. It was disappointing not to have a functioning TV, and I found the overall cleanliness not up to par.

5.6/10

I had a mixed experience at Best Windows in Venice. The location is unbeatable, right in St. Mark's Square, which is truly special. However, I was disappointed with a few aspects like the lack of tea and coffee facilities in the room and the absence of English TV channels. While my stay had its highlights, including a comfy bed and a decent space, I encountered issues like accessibility and room maintenance that left a bit to be desired.

Rooms
5.0
The room was spacious and had a lovely view, but it could benefit from better maintenance. The mattress felt cheap, and I noticed some cleanliness issues.
Service
5.0
Service was lacking, especially with check-in being at another location and the rude treatment I received when I asked for a second room key. It felt more like an unstaffed Airbnb than a hotel.
Location
9.0
The location is absolutely magnificent, being right below the clock tower in St. Mark's Square. It's convenient for exploring the city and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere.
Dining
7.0
I didn't find any dining options on-site, but being so close to various eateries in St. Mark's Square made it easy to grab a bite nearby.
Facilities
5.0
I missed having tea and coffee facilities in the room, and the lack of an elevator made it difficult to manage my luggage on the steep stairs.

5.6/10

I really loved the location of Best Windows in Venice, right in the heart of St. Mark's Square with stunning views of the clock tower. However, the experience was marred by subpar service and a rather uncomfortable room. While the bed was comfy, the room had issues like missing light bulbs and was swarming with mosquitoes. It felt overpriced for what I received, which definitely impacted my overall stay.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a spacious layout with decent features, but comfort was lacking due to missing amenities and a weird mix of furniture. The presence of mosquitoes was quite annoying too.
Service
5.0
The service left a lot to be desired. The check-in process was confusing, and I encountered a rude staff member who didn’t provide the help I needed.
Location
9.0
The location is unbeatable, right in the St. Mark's Square area, making it super convenient to explore nearby attractions.
Dining
5.0
No dining options were available at the hotel, which was a bummer.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were limited, lacking essential items like a kettle or working light bulbs. The view was a highlight, but overall felt underwhelming.

5.2/10

While the location of Best Windows in Venice is absolutely unbeatable, right off St. Mark's Square, my experience was quite disappointing due to several room issues. The bed was hard, the pillows were uncomfortable, and the bathroom situation was a bit chaotic, with the shower flooding the floor. I did appreciate the spaciousness and traditional style of the room, but the shortcomings really took away from my stay. Overall, great location but the room could use some serious upgrades.

Rooms
6.0
My room was meant to be spacious and traditional, but the hard bed made it hard to sleep comfortably. Also, the dodgy shower screen made it tricky to take a proper shower as it flooded the bathroom every time.
Service
6.0
Check-in was a hassle since it was at a separate hotel and took so long due to the lack of staff. The receptionist was friendly and worked hard, but it really felt like a poorly managed situation.
Location
10.0
You truly can't beat the location! I was just steps away from the Basilica and all the hustle and bustle of St. Mark's Square. However, the noise was an issue, especially late at night and early in the morning.
Dining
6.0
I didn't dine at the hotel itself, but being so close to the square means plenty of food options nearby. I also appreciated the available cold meats for a quick snack.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel had some nice features like large bathrooms and strong water pressure in the shower, but there were definitely maintenance issues like broken handles and a lack of AC, which led to a lot of mosquito bites.
